A special 2016 release of Ardbeg, this edition comes from casks laid down in 1993 and 1994 when the distillery was owned by Allied Domecq. Very little production was done at this time, only really producing classic peated Ardbeg a few weeks a year. The casks were originally transferred to Chivas but were sold back to Ardbeg for a general release. Matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 46%.
